Take a minute to read and be blessed:)

Matthew 5:44 – But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.

Do you realize that there are people in the world that will despitefully use you, persecute you, hate you? Jesus told us that ALL of us would encounter these types of people and it would not be uncommon. Have you ever thought, “how could this person have done this to me?” I think that all of us have felt this way about people in our lives at different times. We feel like we have done everything right yet here they come and repay in hurt.

These scenarios are actually a part of our lives on purpose. I believe that God allows these hurtful words to be said and lies to told so that we have the opportunity to forgive as Jesus instructed us. Remember that Jesus told us to love these people, bless them even when they may have done everything wrong to us and we have done nothing but right towards them. Jesus tells us to do this because that is exactly what he does for you and me! Imagine if Jesus didn’t love us when we sinned and rejected us when we fell short of His word. Remember that people are going through things you and I may know not of, our job is to love and bless no matter WHAT!

So try this today, go to that person that you may consider an enemy and bless them…watch what happens. Buy them a gift card to starbucks, tell them you care about them and that you are praying for them and then repeat similar simple acts of love as much as possible. It won’t be long till they may change their opinion about you and repent, but even if they don’t and still say negative things, you have been obedient to God and He will honor you whether the person ever does or not!

Are you blessed?? Tell me bout it! Write me and share your testimonies, it will bless many!

In Christ,

Pastor Aaron
