Take a Bath Today

Hebrews 10:22-23 “(22)let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. (23) Let us hold fast our confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”

Did you know in Jesus you are totally, 100% clean from all sin and YOUR PAST? I know many people who come talk to me who have accepted Christ into their hearts but still carry a heavy weight guilt on their shoulders because of their past. If that is you let me encourage you…TAKE A BATH TODAY.

When you confess Jesus with your mouth and ask him to wash you clean in His blood, you are just that…CLEAN! Isn’t that incredible? God doesn’t keep a log of your sin in Heaven. There is no filing cabinet that will show all of your evil deeds or thoughts. Nope, Jesus takes that sin and washes it down the drain called grace in the same way when you empty a bathtub the dirt and filth doesn’t come back up into the tub. When you take a literal bath, the dirty water leaves and all that is left is you, clean from your uncleanliness. WOW! Isn’t Christ AWESOME? He has taken your sin and my sin and gives us freedom from it. We don’t have the power to be free from sin in and of ourselves, but through Christ we are granted the power of freedom through His grace.

So hold fast your confession, preach the gospel to your co-workers and friends. Don’t let the devil lie to you and say that you aren’t worthy to preach because of your past. Your past is just that, the past, you are a new creation in Christ Jesus and you didn’t pay the price, He did, you just get to freely receive it. Incredible! Praise God!

Today, don’t waiver – He is faithful and you are clean and righteous because of Christ. Freely you have received, freely give, share Christ with someone today – BE BOLD!

You Are Who God Says You Are!

Write me if you are blessed:)

Bless you!
