Here is a simple thought/reminder for everyone…
The sun rises and the rain falls on the just and the unjust. This walk in Christ is all about one thing…FAITH. Without it we have nothing, we have no ability to operate in Christ’s power, we may not even make it to Heaven because by faith we are saved by grace.
Rain is essential on the earth to growth and produce anything that has life in it. Plants need it, trees need it, animals need it and people need it. However, when it falls, not all plants are ready to receive it, some may die and drown in it, but others will thrive and produce life and growth from it. Even though at moments the rain is harsh, cold and violent, it is still essential and still brings life.
In the same way, the “rain” of life is essential for us to grow and produce spiritual life. It comes on all people, but if you are ready to receive it in the correct attitude and heart, you will produce what is creates which is the ability to produce. God does not give us an easy “cakewalk” life when we come into the Kingdom, that does not produce life. He is concerned about one thing, you coming into a relationship with him and leading others to Him. Once you accept Christ, it is necessary that you receive some “rain”, some challenges, some obstacles for security of your salvation. These trials are a wonderful thing because it positions us to have to trust in God thus allowing our faith to grow and our relationship to become stronger.
In any relationship you will have struggles, but it is how you work through the struggles that makes the difference. It is also what determines if that relationship will grow deeper or cease to exist. We must have faith to believe in Christ and the only way to strengthen this faith, many times, is through trials and total dependance on God. Why? Because GOD NEVER FAILS! HE NEVER LETS US FALL! HE ALWAYS SHOWS UP AND HE’S ALWAYS ON TIME!!!!
As our faith grows, we don’t get as upset when the rain comes because we know in our heart that He will carry us through and that He is using EVERY trial we face for our own good…Because He LOVES US!! AMEN!
Are you blessed? Tell me…
