Preach Preacha!

2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.”

You are a preacher! Yes YOU! Maybe your quiet, maybe your shy, maybe you don’t feel qualified, maybe you never went to school, maybe, maybe, maybe…

You know the devil loves to fill your mind with why you can’t do something, God wants to fill your mind with what you CAN do in Him!

Let me ask you a question, do you read the Bible? Do you pray? Do you go to church? Do you have any understanding of who God is? Do you know who Jesus is and why He came to this earth and why there is salvation available to all? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions you can preach! Preaching the gospel can many times look very scary to those who have never done it, but the gospel is actually simple and its simplicity is what makes it SOOOO powerful!

You don’t have to be an eloquent speaker and in fact Paul purposefully did not speak in eloquent words as the Bible tells us in 1 Corinthians 2:4 “And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power”.

You see, people don’t need to be convinced by your big fancy words or “deep” talk, they want the real thing. Share your testimony, talk about your experience with the power of God, tell people about how Jesus came to the earth and died that they may have everlasting life.

Have you experienced the power, healing, joy of God? Share that! You’re a preacher! Do it! The gospel is no gospel at all unless it is preached by someone! That’s you!!!

  1. Aaron, That is why I admire and respect your ministry! You teach in such a way that even the most shy or “inexperienced” Christian believes “I can do this”! It’s not some big unattainable thing! I have a testimony and someone just might need to hear it! Short, Sweet and simple!

Thanks and His best for you and your family!!

  2. That’s a great word, Pastor Aaron. Thanks for reminding us that God has given us a sphere of influence, and He has given us the grace and anointing to open our mouths wherever we are and speak of His goodness.

I appreciate your heart for God, and for constantly challenging us to be who He has called us to be! Keep up the great work!
