New Year, New Season!

Are you ready for a new season in your life? Are you ready to step into the destiny that God has planned for you? Are you ready to hear about this destiny in a way you never thought possible? If so, I encourage you to read this blog and be challenged and moved in way that could push you into a new day of fulfillment in Christ!

Habbabuk 2:2-3 “2 Then the Lord said to me,
“Write my answer plainly on tablets,
so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.
3 This vision is for a future time.
It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled.
If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently,
for it will surely take place.
It will not be delayed.”

Growing up in church I have heard many preachers talk about a “new season”. They would reference this specifically to a changing of circumstances in a person’s natural life, spiritual life or both. I know in my life that as I have heard these teachings that my faith exploded in expectancy but I seemingly would find myself waiting around for something magical to happen. I was almost expecting that one day I would wake up and have my dreams just starting to happen on their own and I would get the luxury of simply living them out. It has been through many challenging and learning opportunities that I have learned different.

Too many times when we talk about a new season, we think it is going to magically happen…God is not magical, He is supernatural, but He uses people (you and me) to accomplish His supernatural works on the earth! When I grabbed ahold of this I began to have a revelation that if I was going to see the “new season” or see my dreams begin to unfold I was going to have to do something about it.

As I prayed about what to do once my faith was exploding, God showed me some steps and I would like to share these with you now:

  • Prayer:

Matthew 7:7-8

If we want to hear God’s voice, we must initiate the conversation:) Talk to God and then expect to hear from Him. In Habbabuk it says “Then the Lord said to me…” If the Lord was responding, something was initiated first.

  • Write it Down

Once we hear from God, we must write it down as the Bible teaches. This creates a visual recognition of what is in your heart!

  • Take Action Steps (Create Measurable Goals)

Once you have written down the vision, take an immediate proactive step towards bringing it to life. Don’t let your new season sit on paper…make it happen! You have already been equipped with all the gifts and talents to accomplish the dream from God. Now let’s cultivate these gifts through some tangible means.
Education
-Through people
-School
-Online Tutorials
NEVER STOP LEARNING
-Pastor Marilyn Hickey told me once “If I can give you one lesson that will always allow you to maximize your impact on the world…learn from everyone! Doesn’t matter what age, country they are from, rich or poor…be open to hearing the Holy Spirit speak to you through all kinds of people!”

  • Breaking the comfort zone

Try things that may bring results that you have been either intimidated/insecure about…Allow the Holy Spirit to push you!

  • Quarterly Goals…ALWAYS PUSH FOR INCREASE IN SUCCESS!

Success is measured different for everyone and everything!
Don’t Get Discouraged
God has declared it to you, “If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently…”
-Wait – Hebrew expression: chakah
Pronunciation: khaw KAWH
This means “To have Patience” and “To stay in a place of expectation”

  • Stay Faithful

Proverbs 28:20
Jesus taught us that those who are faithful in small things will be made ruler’s over much!

  • Look for More…

God reveals in phases…
-Matthew 25:21
God reveals by His Holy Spirit
-1 Corinthians 2:10-12

I want to encourage you that the new season you have been dreaming about is within your grasp! The key to arriving in this wonderful new season is simply taking action by remembering that God is not magical, He is supernatural and wants to use YOU to accomplish His desires on the earth!! What an awesome responsibility and privilege to impact the world…God wants to use YOU!

If you are blessed let me know!

Praying for you,

Pastor Aaron
